Joo-Young and I have reached the point where when we talk about our day and something bizarre happens, we blink at each other for a few seconds and then say something along the lines of “well, you know how it is”. I guess this can be chalked up to culture shock, or a more resigned approach to culture shock. Bizarro things happen here constantly and we often wonder if we just happen to be in strange situations or whether we are just experiencing “Korean culture”. Recently Blog-gogi had a great post about some of the stranger (though not actually so strange over here) experiences that foreigners in Korea have had. While I delight in shocking my friends and relatives as I recount yet another strange incidence, the stories on this post really take the cake.
(This is also to make up for my depressing previous two posts)
